Many smaller nonprofits invest their money in their cause — not their brand. I created Command+Z to provide design and creative services for free and I select two non profits per year. Entrenadores de Vida is one of them and they specialize in suicide prevention and postvention. They offer certified programs and were the promoters and co-authors of the suicide prevention law in Argentina, Paraguay and Panamá.
We began with an audit of the existing marketing materials, finding the pieces they were most proud of and learning about what they do and why they do it. The new logo’s E and V come together to create the brand’s icon — an abstract representation of roots. The potential for future growth and development lies deep within, like roots reaching for nourishment.
