I’ve been working with GOBEL since 2024, supporting their team with a variety of marketing and communication pieces. GOBEL works in healthcare philanthropy, helping organizations use strategy, data, and technology to strengthen their fundraising efforts.

A big part of my work with them has been taking content-heavy information and making it easier to understand. For the Transformational Gift Analysis, that meant creating a clear hierarchy across research, statistics, charts, and key findings so readers can quickly see what matters most without losing the depth of the report. The same thinking carries into smaller pieces, like the Gratify leave-behind, where a lot of information needs to work within a much tighter space.

This kind of work has become a bigger part of how I approach design. I still care about making things look good, but I’m just as interested in what the design is doing. What should someone notice first? What information needs more emphasis? How can we make something feel less overwhelming? For me, good design is about finding that balance between clarity, strategy, and the visual side of it.
